About

Ri Shuja

My own journey has inspired me to help others bring about change, empowerment, and personal growth in their own lives.

My practice as a hypno & psychotherapist has been enriched by my personal experience - including living across a range of countries and cultures (as both a child and as an adult) - and a diverse career across management consulting, government, the arts, and entrepreneurship.

However, conventional therapy approaches - which I experienced myself for many years - often left me unsatisfied, without a sense of catharsis or long-term progression.

Realising that narrating my struggles to an impassive therapist for 55 minutes was not a path to the deep healing I sought, I ventured into working with a cognitive hypnotherapist, a graduate of the distinguished Quest Institute in London. She not only listened but actively engaged with me, guiding me to delve deeper into my unconscious, into my body - encouraging me to explore alternative perspectives, revisit buried or potent memories, and identify and challenge deeply-held belief systems, which were not serving my best interest at that time.

This form of therapy was (and continues to be) such an inspiring and deeply rewarding journey, that it led me to train in Cognitive Hypnotherapy myself (also at the Quest Institute in London), and to build a therapy practice. Through this I have been able to work with clients across the world to help bring about the changes they want in their own lives.
